Pop Up Events: How To

This is a basic and general overview of my operations. Keep in mind, each event has a different vibe, flow, timing, and specific day-of instructions. 


Pop up Event How-To

Estimated car packing and unpacking time 15-30 min

Estimated set up time 45 min-1 hr

Estimated breakdown time 15-30 min

Pro-Tip: Pack the car the night before an event for maximum efficiency

  • Arrive 10-15 minutes EARLY from Load-In Time 

  • Unpack everything and move your car immediately

  • Pop tent up first and secure with at least one weight per leg

  • Set up table and cover with cloth and neatly place products on table

  • Zip tie all signs in place and adjust set up to environmental factors

  • Set up POS and Power Station

  • Double check inventory is placed correctly

  • Sell, sell, sell!

  • Pack up at the EXACT end time. DO NOT PACK UP EARLY

  • Throughout the event, take notes and input information into your MARKET spreadsheet 👇🏼

This Market spreadsheet should cover the basics: 

  • Total Revenue collected

  • Inventory needed/sold

  • Comments on customer interactions and networking leads

  • Review on the event itself

  • Recommendations on whether to do event again
